I’m finally making progress on my Marcelle Medallion quilt! I have a friend who joined me and is helping me push along. She quickly passed me and my meager progress, so of course I had to catch up! And holy cow, it took forever to cut out all of these triangles. One or two out of each print in my stack… so glad that’s done!
Once they are cut out, putting them together isn’t so bad. You definitely can’t chain-piece these though, and sew together pairs, then sets of four, etc. I tried that and ended up with a row that started to circle back down! So it was one by one for each row, slowly but surely. And I love how it turned out! The points are pretty good for my first equilateral triangles ever. One solid border, and it’s on to flying geese!
