Happy February everyone! After my mostly tragic start to my swoon quilt last week, I decided to start over with some new fabrics. I really am not in love with that block, so Hyperreal Garden is going to wait for a different project… I’m switching over to Ruby for Swoon!
Isn’t this so much better? Lee over at Freshly Pieced commented last week that these blocks seem to work best when the prints have a strong contrast between each other and the background fabric, and she was definitely right. I’ve paired fat quarters together keeping this in mind, so hopefully the rest of my blocks will be just as pretty!
