Hurray for another finished quilt! This one I started around six months ago, so it didn’t take me as long as the last one. :) The pattern is New Wave Quilt by Oh, Fransson! I used prints from Anthology’s Folk Life line (purchased at Fabric Fascination) and Kona Snow for the sashing and border. It turned out bright and fun. I did’t want to lose any of the print, so I added extra sashing at the top and bottom of the pattern. The binding is a solid dark blue from my stash.

This quilt was begging for straight line quilting, so I listened to it. I followed the waves with straight lines on both sides, similar to my zig-zag quilt.

For the back, I didn’t have enough print, so I got creative and put together what I had with more Kona Snow. I really like how the two prints cancel each other out in the middle and become white. Definitely one of my favorite backs that I’ve made.
