Two of my best friends had birthdays a few days ago, so I decided to sew them each up a gift. I’ve been reading about some of my friend Tiana’s kitchen adventures on Facebook, so I decided that she needed a cute new apron. That way, if the food doesn’t turn out like she expected, she can at least say she looked cute making it. (At least that’s what I tell myself when I cook. Didn’t you and I set off the fire alarm at your house making breakfast in middle school? Sounds like something we would do….) Anyway, I made the Marie Apron out of some Erin Morrison’s Wildwood line, and I think it turned out super cute. Happy Birthday, Tiana!

I asked Beth a while back what she would want for her birthday, and she said she loved my Apple-Picking Tote that I sewed a while back (but apparently didn’t post about… sorry!).

DSCF0005-1It’s study enough to use at the grocery store or the farmer’s market, so I knew it would be a perfect bag for her. I used an old stash of Amy Butler’s Lotus line, which it turns out is one of her favorite prints (yay!). Happy Birthday, Beth! (By the way, Beth is having a little giveaway on her blog, so you should go check it out!)
