Our garden is in full force and growing like crazy! I got some green beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, and banana peppers that quickly were pickled. Hopefully the recipe I found online will work. I didn’t think about it until afterwards, but I wonder if you can use the same recipe for pickles as for pickled banana peppers. Darlys shared her pickle recipe with me, and I’m anxious to try it, but our cucumbers are still pretty small.

Unfortunately, the peaches on our tree did not turn out well. Most of them ripened while they were really small, squirrels ate just about everything, and the ones that I got ahold of first had a liquified and moldy pit in the center. It was pretty gross! This was our first season with the tree, so hopefully next year we’ll be able to figure out how to fix these problems and have edible fruit.
